About the Larne Gazette

The East Antrim Gazette Series has three editions - The Larne Gazette, the Ballyclare Gazette and Carrickfergus Advertisier which first two both commenced publication in 1994. Being new weekly newspapers, the latter two are experiencing a rapid growth in circulation in the East Antrim area. The three editions circulate in an area with a population of 80,000. The Larne Gazette has being regonised by the major supermarkets as an effective advertising medium.

The East Antrim area has a large number of light and heavy engineering plants as well as numerous manufacturing units. It is a prosperous area and Larne is the largest roll on - roll off port in the island of Ireland.
